Miles joined the Sliders program in 2015 as the 10U assistant coach. For the last two years he has been assisting both our 10U and 11U teams. We are thrilled to have him be our 2018 11U head coach. Before coaching with Sliders he ran a program called T-Ball Kids in Mill Valley. Many of our current Sliders players first fundamentals were taught by Miles through his program.
Miles grew up in Los Angeles, California and was the bat boy for many of his dad's semi-pro baseball teams. He loved nothing more than being on the diamond. Miles was a three year varsity starter at Santa Monica High School as well as being on the Westside's Premier American Legion team, Post 123. Due to an injury his college baseball career was cut short leading him to pursue other interests and earned himself a degree in film/media from the University of San Francisco. After graduation, Miles has been working in live sports television, live streaming videos and is a member of the team that runs the web app Fox Sports Go.
When Miles isn't coaching, he enjoys snowboarding in Tahoe and traveling the world.
